I (still) love Shock Theatre!!!!

Charley King - (12 July 2004)
Yeah, I know. I'm close to being middle-aged (33, for the record,) but I still look back on the Saturday nights when I suffered through SNL to watch Shock Theatre with a longing that I used to hear the old folks refer to as "nostalgia." ***By the way, who was the genius who switched the time slot of Shock Theater from 12:30 A.M. Sunday morning to 12:30 P.m. Saturday afternoon?!*** I, at the tender age of six, was lucky enough to meet the good doctor (Franklin, OH for those of you keeping track) for a meet and greet way back in the '70's; my autographed photo is long gone, but meeting the man who knew what movies I'd love to watch-...well, let's not get too sentimental here. By the way, twenty plus years later my mom is still having to explain why I wanted the Dracula,Frankenstein's monster and "weird" Hallowee-themed B-day cakes! Hey Doc, how's about another autographed pic? I swear I won't lose this one!!! Ew, Ha,Ha,Ha, Charley King
